In an attempt to revive the top public educational institution in the country, the Lebanese University Campus in Hadath was designed in line with international architectural standards and a detailed program of functions elaborated with the administrative and pedagogical bodies of the university.

The master plan of the Lebanese University Campus includes a total of thirteen faculties grouping an all encompassing array of specializations: Law and Political Sciences, Economy, Engineering, Sciences, Medicine, Pharmacy, Public Health, in addition to the National School of Fine Arts, the National School of Public Administration, and the Industrial Research Institute. The university was modeled along the lines of a garden-city where green pathways and squares further enhance the educational experience of a campus.

A number of facilities also form part of the campus master plan, including dormitories for 2,500 students, a conference center, a library, a central cafeteria, central administration, the technical area and the sports complex. A central catering facility serves a student population of over 30,000 students who would enjoy over 250,000 m2 of landscaped areas.
