Amman Jordan
Roads & Infrastructure

In line with the second and third phase of the Amman Business Central District master plan, all infrastructure networks in the Abdali district were completed.
A centralized loop system network for district heating and cooling was installed, running throughout the area with easy points of access in all parcels, thus avoiding clustering buildings with bulky technical equipment at top roof levels. A gas distribution network was similarly installed.
Taking into account water scarcity issues faced in Jordan, a water treatment plant was instated to recycle water used in the cooling towers of the DHC plant. The treated water would be used for irrigation purposes in the urban park of the project. In turn, the extensive landscape work conducted on the 800 m long and 45 m wide area of the park plays a crucial role as the lungs of the entire urban development.
A medium voltage substation distributing energy to the entire development was also installed, with the energy distribution cables having been installed in the first phase of the Amman Business Central District project.
